FCC Kids

We believe that our children represent the church of today, not just tomorrow. We know that most people first encounter Jesus as a child, and we are committed to sharing the truth of the Bible and live by example to model Christ's change in all our lives.

FAITH GROUPS - Faith groups take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A fun, age appropriate and interactive curriculum is used which allows the gospel to be presented to kids at their level. The age groups are divided as follows:

2 years - Kindergarten

1st - 3rd Grade

4th - 6th Grade

WORSHIP - Worship on Sunday morning starts with our children joining their parents in the Weekly Worship Gathering. At about 11:00 a.m. the children are dismissed to their own worship service where they hear a lesson geared specifically to them and their learning levels.

EASTER EGG HUNT - This special family event is typically scheduled for the Saturday before Easter Sunday. Stay tuned for more information!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - We love VBS at FCC. This week long evening event is typically held in mid-June.

HARVEST FAMILY FESTIVAL- Near the end of October we invite families to come together for games, food, hayrides, and a bonfire.

TRUNK OR TREAT - Each October, FCC hosts a free, community wide Trunk or Treat. All are welcome to attend! Come join us for a fun night of food, games, and prizes!

Our middle and high school students enjoy fellowship, activities, and sound Biblical teaching on Wednesday evenings in their Faith Group and other events scheduled throughout the year. If you would like to get involved or are interested in finding out more about our student ministry, contact Ross Heinz at 502.526.3449.

FAITH GROUPS -  Youth Faith Groups happen on Wednesday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

BIBLE STUDY - Every Wednesday night at 7:00.

Faith GROUPS are our core connections for our adults.

These weekly settings help us to pursue three vital relationships:

* Intimacy with God

* Community with believers

* Influence with others

Weekly Worship gathering

Our Faith Groups and others come together on Sunday Mornings to celebrate Jesus, who made us and saved us for a relationship with Him forever, We also give thanks for the life change that God has made and is making in our lives. We believe that worship is a way of life and at Faith Community we desire to see people worship God in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23-24).

Our worship team consists of singers, instrumentalists, dramatic presentations, and a tech team who all use their gifts to serve God and our church family. We are always looking to connect with those interested in serving. Please contact us if you would like more information about how you can be involved with our worship team.

The manger shop

M.A.N.G.E.R.: Mother's Assistance in Nutrition, Guidance, and Emergency Resources

The MANGER Shop is located in the lower level of Faith Community's Family Life Center. The Shop provides basics to babies and encouragement to caregivers. Micki Byrd had the original idea to start the MANGER Shop in 2002. With her guidance, the Shop has been blessing families for well over 15 years. Families with infants come to the MANGER Shop for diapers, formula, baby clothes, and other items that are required or helpful for raising a new life. Over the years these items have been donated in bulk or purchased out right to make them available.

This ministry is blessed by volunteers who love others and give of themselves. God has used The MANGER Shop to bless families in need as well as our wonderful volunteers. Most of our volunteers are from the Borden area and many have started attending Faith Community. The MANGER Shop has been a springboard to help our volunteers search how God can use them. We have seen change in each and every volunteer as they serve in the name of Jesus. We can always use additional volunteers for restocking, distribution, and connecting with the families as the come through.

See the schedule below, or CLICK HERE to see the calendar. We have at least 20 families visit us each time we are open. Some of the families that come for help bring toys, clothes, or other things they don't need any more to donate to someone else.

God is so good. He uses The MANGER Shop to bless so many people in so many different ways!
